Woman Throws Shade At Her Dog After Pooch Refused To Work For His Food

A woman has thrown shade at her dog who would rather starve than work for his food.

Woman Throws Shade At Her Dog After Pooch Refused To Work For His Food

The woman is said to have replaced her dog's standard bowl with a puzzled-shaped one in order to stimulate his mind, but after just one meal, she realised her dog wasn't at all interested in eating out of his new bowl.

According to the picture shared on Reddit, she wrote: “Apparently my dog would rather starve than work for his food. Maybe your dog is smarter.”

The picture has so far received more than 600 upvotes and numerous comments from dog owners who have all tried out a puzzle bowl on their pets.

One user said: “I just got this exact bowl for my dog. I got tired of him inhaling his dinner. We’ve had it one night, and I’m loving it! I got an extra one for when we eat at my parent's.”

Another user said: “My auntie's bull terrier is a total darling and is very gentle. She also has one of these bowls but she just scoops the food equally as fast with her tongue and chomps it down violently before going belly up.”

A third user said: “We have this exact one for our puppy that would finish his dog food in seconds.”

“The first few times he used it, he would walk in a circle trying to get food and when he couldn’t get any he would get frustrated and just paw at it until it flipped.”

“He’s nine months now and still uses it to eat.”

Puzzle bowls have been effective in providing pets with obstacles to navigate in order to reach their food - and can help dogs slow their eating and increase the feeling of fullness.

The Best Fish Feed in Nigeria for Catfish: Why Quality Matters

A few months ago, I visited a fish farm run by an ambitious aquapreneur who had high hopes for his homemade fish feed. His pond was large, his vision clear: this feed would cut costs, boost growth, and drive profitability.  But within a week, disaster struck. Fish floated belly-up. Growth stalled. The numbers didn’t add up.   The problem wasn’t the fish. It was the feed.   The catfish were growing exactly as they were fed: poorly. Just as fish can’t flourish on empty calories, a farm can’t succeed on subpar feed. The right nutrition makes the difference between a thriving business and a sinking investment.   In Nigeria’s competitive catfish farming industry, choosing the best feed isn’t just about cost, it’s about protein content, digestibility, floatability, and growth performance. The wrong feed leads to stunted growth, higher mortality, and lost profits. The right one maximizes yield, health, and market value.  In this article, we’ll explore:...
