Tiktoker Slammed For Treating Lion Like A Pet: ‘There Are Better Ways To Show Off Your Wealth’

Humaid Albuqaish who has more than 7.5 million followers on the social media platform incurred the wraths of users when he was filmed sitting down and clasping himself to a female  lion as if it is a domestic pet.

In the video which can be watched here, the wild animal is seen roaring and exposing its teeth like a predator that has just sighted a prey.

Unperturbed by the roar, Albuqaish seems so comfortable sitting beside the angry lion.

Although he seems to enjoy the moment, many viewers have condemned his action.

Alec Jones a TikTok user wrote: “Let him be free this isn't right.”

Albafrev agreed: “Why would you do this to animals? Why??”

Shannon lamented: “This is just heartbreaking. What humans do to animals for their amusement is soul destroying.”

1spiersdodgerblue added: “Amazing the arrogance of men to think that they could have this wild animal as a pet.”

Anne B. commented: “Triggering the lion for views. Sad.”

Rosebud wrote: “You need to re-evaluate everything. Why are you keeping such a beautiful creature indoors? Does it make you feel like a powerful man?”

Chris Hansen warned: “I know you're rich and powerful but you can't control that thing.”

Sammie Yungster concurred: “It's a matter of time before that lion eats the dude.”

Fsunoles170 added: “Whatever happens to this dude, he deserves it.”

Sam Cotton, meanwhile, suggested: “Mate just get a dog.”

With such view and followers on TikTok, it doesn't look like Albuqaish is going to listen to anyone, not when his videos with dangerous animals has gone viral with up to 99.5 million views.

This clip he released is the most recent of his videos featuring his act with dangerous animals like tigers and lions. And this is neither the first nor the second time his acts has been condemned.

The society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Australia (RSPCA) had also condemned Albuqaish for keeping animals that belongs to natural environment hostage sometime ago in May 2015.

“These people seem to use exotic animals like artwork, surely there are better ways to show off your wealth,” an RSPCA spokesperson told News Corp.
