Alex Binyam Abraha, 21, of Atlanta, was found dead early in the morning on Sept. 24 by the homeowner, name withheld, in Coweta County.

According to local authorities, Abraha broke into the house night before and was immediately greeted by two pitbulls.

Following Abraha’s death, the Sheriff’s Department thinking that it was a case of homicide called in investigators from Georgia Bureau to look into the case.

However, an autopsy has confirmed the cause of his death as a dog attack, he died from injuries sustained during the attack.

The homeowner told local authorities that he doesn’t know Abraha, wasn’t expecting him, was not at home when the incident took place and as well Abraha has no reason to be in his home.

Authorities have seized the dogs as part of investigation. It has not yet been determined what will happen to them next. A journalist with local Fox affiliate WAGA- TV, Doug Evans tweeted the pictures of both dogs.

Prior to his death, Abraha had active warrants for his arrest in Fulton County, according to Fox News.

No charges are expected against the homeowner following Abraha’s death.

Following Abraha’s death a GoFundMe was started with the goal of realizing $25,000, but right now about $1000 has been raised.

“As horrible as dealing with death is, his family has to deal with confusing and unclear details from the police, with no concrete evidence or story,” organizer Sara Abraha wrote.

Abraha’s family said they only came to know about their son’s death “days” after, and investigators have not given them any concrete information about his death.
